Roger has been in the wine industry since starting a wholesale wine business in the South West of England. The business grew and Roger became a wine importer from all over the world. His off-licence premises were a natural draw for
connoisseurs of fine wine. He obtained the Higher and Diploma Certificates, but never found time to study to become a Master of Wine. Roger judges wine in London, travels extensively and has visited many vineyards all over the world. Recently he and his wife have also included searching out fine dining experiences.
Now a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists he spends his time tasting and reporting on wines from around the world, the next journey is to search out new vineyards of Australia and to look at how New Zealand is embracing the
Gewürztraminer grape and producing some very good wines.

Trisha has had a long term interest in fine dining. Well travelled she has always been fascinated by authentic local dishes and the unique flavours and textures of regional cuisine. Born and brought up in Wales she watched the cooking and preparation of food in her mother's restaurants. In London she learnt the joys of cooking with Indian spices, honing her knowledge and skills when she lived in the Middle East and then in the Caribbean. Returning to Europe she lived in Spain, Portugal and France again learning regional dishes from local cooks who not only explained the traditional techniques and flavours used, but also their seasonal availability and cultural significance.
She uses her skills as an editor and published author to work with her husband to reflect on the exceptional food and wine experiences they encounter on their travels.
